Leave it to photographer, Anna Roussos to make a real wedding look like a styled shoot. Let’s face it, it took us more than a few glances to realize that this glamorous duo was not hired to model, but are actually a real bride & groom. Anthea & Marty swept us away with their jaw dropping & elegant Spetses, Greek island nuptials. The stunning bride first visited Spetses as a child & quickly became captivated by its beauty, which facilitated her to return time and time again. So, it was no surprise that when it came down to choosing a venue for her big day she wanted to show her husband to be, friends, and family the exquisiteness that had captivated her heart for so long.
The picturesque backdrop was provided by the Poseidonion Hotel, built in 1914, which housed the bride & groom along with their guests for a week of wedding festivities, but the breathtaking scenery didn’t end there. The church where the lovely couple tied the knot contained a vantage point above the water which overlooked the seaside mansions providing a storybook background.
What we love most about this wedding is the personalization and background infused from both the bride & the groom. The mixture of Greek and American culture really gave life and beauty to this spectacular wedding. But, all in all we cannot overlook the bride’s great sense of style, from her striking wedding gown to those “got to-have-them” pale pink satin shoes. So, in Greek fashion, we end with “na ziesete” (“long life to you”) to Anthea & Marty!
